I wish finally to say one word on the subject of inter-Allied indebtedness. which is closely connected with that of Reparations, THis country has been very strongly pressed to cancel all her claims against the Allies so has America. Here. too, T see the possibility of a satisfactory solution both from ovr own and the American point of view. and shall not go into further details.
I would, however. urge a point which seems to be of fundamental importance. Do not let us from mistaken motives of generosity
