In accordance with the policy founded last year, of getting the estimates into ratepayers' hands as far in-advance of the annual meeting as possible, the Budget was issued yesterday. It contemplates an ordinary income! for the coming veir of Tls. 8,294,720, not quite a million taels more than in 1923, and an! ordinary expenditure less than revenue by Tls. 295,420, which is to be carried to extraordinary income. Tt is proposed to raise Tls. 5,000,000. by - borrowing (one million less tha last year)!
