Brigand: for Bed Follow

I had not had anything to eat since nhan the day before, but I was [tired and had too much on my mind to think of eating and so lay down lon the proffered bedboards without blanket or covering. My underwear that T had not changed was soaking wet and as there was nothing but ithe heat of the body to dry it. T jeaught cold from which I am still suffering. A robber very kindly lay [down on the bed with me with his jeartridge belt, crammed with ammunition buckled round him ready for action. The cold cartridges poked me in the back or ribs every time we turned in bed. He was kind however, and we fell into conversation, and as we talked he fanned away the mosquitoes that were bothering us badly.
