At a police station with a tower the flood waters began to rise quickly jand 11 of the 12 occupants hurried Into the tower. The force of the water, however, caused the tower to fall and the 11 men were lost, the one who was unable to reach " the tower only being saved.
People who were injured were taken to the Mission Hospital where they received quick attention.
