Tokio, September 5.
The installation of Baron Taka hai Kato as Japanese Ambassador to London will take place tomorrow.
Baron Kato in.an interview observes that it is generally agreed between Conservatives and Liberals that, in all problems affecting the Far East, Japan is glad to cooperate: with Great Britain in pursuance of a policy of peace in China, He deprecates the inclination in Japan to look for gratitude from China, condemns the Japanese tendency to insist on the idea of a sphere of influence as also harmful, and exhorts his countrymen to adopt a conciliatory and cooperative attitude in China, where the centre of the world's problems lies.
