Revolutionary Duty

Of the above objects, all possible should be at once put into practice, and of the remainder I (just and upright) and my fathers and bre throu pledge ourselves to the utmost for their accomplishment. To alt our people (fathers and brethren)! Tatate that the Revolution is for the benefit of both the country and the people, and it is traly of the people themselves. The people are the foundation of the revolution. The goal of the revolution is to strike down Imperialism, To do this we must have the support of all the People. Now the gathering together of the Armies at Wuchang is break down Imperialism. To strike down Wu Pei-fu and a few other militarists cannot be regarded as the sole end of the Revolution. Hence, fathers and brethren, quick:

come together under the "Blue t¥: Sky and White Sun" (the revolutionary flag) and give yourselves to this.cause, for your own great Denolit, to the organization of re-.volutionary bodies, for the strengthening and establishment of the army and of the Kuomintang Go-Yernment. Also, all these people are not. yet under the sway' of Kuomintang army—shoul secretly organize and promote the work of Revolution, not till, but. accomplish, Honary duty.
