Rifle Range. -The purchase on behalf of the Council ALE, Alger is noted of two additional pieces of unregistered land, required in connexion with the scheme for removing the Rifle Range northwards. For the first, area about Mow 2.5, the price is fixed at Tls.1,250 par mow: for the second, area, 0 per mow.
RoadJExtonsions and Widenings.
Peking Road.—Negotiations have been concluded with the beneficial owner} of Osdastral Lot 188 whereby the portion of the property scheduled for inelosion in the Pekiog Road will be surrendered for the lamp sum of! Tis, 27,225. The lot is at the corner of the Honan Road, and the improvement effected will be most marked. To minimise the diffcalties of re-building, alight modification has been sanctioned in the carved building line, and the area to be surrendered, as amended, is Mow 0.503. The destraction of about 42 ative houses has been involved in this transection, while the plan eccompanying the application to re-build shows 35 houses only.
