Judgment for Defendants

Judgment for the defendants was given in the French Consular, Court in the case brought by M. H. Chatel against two French citizens whom he charged with running a pharmacy without a diploma; the' defendants were M. Marais, of the California Pharmacy, and Mf, Estublier, of the Pharmazie Moderne, Avenue Joffre.

Messrs, A clu Pac de Marsoulies and P. Premet represented M. Chatel, The judgment states that M. Chatel has no title to ask for application of the Inw in the circum.

ces propounded, inasmuch as there was no certainty that he had himself complied with the law on the points on which he based his charge against the defendants. The Ministére Public alone had the right to prosecute, The Court was also of opinion that the case was of tittle importance and unworthy of any great attention.

We understand M. Chatel will file an appeal.
