Dispatches from Cairo state that Mohammed Fand, the President of the Nationalist Party, has been sentenced to six months' imprisonment for publishing a preface to 'a seditious poom.—Eclusive Ser A telegram from Cairo dated January 4 states that Mohammed Fand, the Nationalist leader who returned to Egypt week previously after an absence of several months, appeared that day before the Parquet, and war examined with regard to @ preface farnished by him to a seditious volume "El Wataniati," published Inst May by the Sheikh Elghayati.—Ep.
