The game between the Customs Clad and the Navy, played on the Hongkew Recreation Ground on Saturday alter-12000 was splendidly contested. In the firet half of the game the Customs team had the wind against them, but spite of this they scored the first and only goal of the match, Manley netting the ball after a clever ron through the opposing backs. In the second half, with the wind in their favour, the Customs forwards were frequently attacking, but were enable to penetrate the naval defence and no farther was made, the Customs Clab winning by one goal to nil.
For the wieners, Heron and Lappa played a good game at fall back, Dis-tornal was the pick of the half-backs, tod Manley was brilliant in the forward me.
