Peking, Sept. 27.
The attention of the Chinese authorities has been called to what ig described as "mischievous and tendencious news," which has been circulated concerning the alleged negotiations in regard to Rusao-Chinese relations between the Chinese Government and representatives of Verkhne-Udinsk. In this connexion the Waichiaopu has nothing to add to its communique, telegraphed on the 16th instant, as nothing has since taken place.
Tt may, moreover, be noted that the various Legations have been minutely and faithfully informed of the intentions of the Chinese Government. and that there is, there: fore, little danger of any misunderstanding on the part of foreign Governments.
