To the Editor of the "NontH-Cuina Daty News."

St,—By perusal of "Meeting the! Reds Half Way," an article publish. ed in your issue of December 5, it is evident that the importance of the revolutionary propaganda which is doing conducted by Soviets cannot de "exaggerated. Moreos events referred to in the said article give a right to suppose that it was not a bare assertion when Stalin said that the revolutionary movement in China is increasing, If proof wore needed of the propaganda directed by the communists it may be had in Stalin's dissert tion on the topic of Chinese revolution, This dissertation was approved by the Central Executive Committee of the Communist party, in April, 1927. In his dissertation Stalin said that "the very existence of the proletarian dictatorship. in U.S, S, R,, lessens the labour of the Chinese proletariat which may take 'a3 a wonderful example the means by which the performance of the October Revolution was accomplished. "Repetition of this perform. ance in China," said Stalin, "will pave way for Moscow to bolshevize this country." Further Stalin demands that Chinese communists must fight with more energy against the Right moderate of the Kuomintang, that there must be ion" between the Left ind communists. Labour nts! groups must be form-jert ho recommends Chinese revolutionaries to be ready with the view of undertaking movements by means of which Soviets might be introduced into China, That the revolutionary movement is guided by Moscow is more munist party should control. the activity of the Kuomintang. Fur-|%¢ under the clever guidance of Moscow, local Reds are going to repeat October in China.

Unfortunately we do not know wha ud of prectiooary meamares fare taken by those against whom the communist blow is intended.

The situation created by the communist propaganda is pregnant with possibilities. "Is it possible that the! events in Shanghsi will further closely resemble the events that took place in Petrograd, and the anti-Bolsheviks" attitude of Shanghai will " resemble the attitude Petrograd anti-Bolsheviks towards Red meece? We know that dis-ion, indecision, and treachery among. anti-Bolshevike The perils of Bolshe important} itted by communist 10 years are not be forgotten.

Among these crimes we remember the "Spartac" revolt in Berlin, Bela Kun terror in Hungary, the communist movement!

revolt in Morocco and] attempt to kill the Japanese Regent and many others, Shanghai merchants and the lordly ones. will under-estimate the: perils of the Red Menace, then there no doubt that this great city is destined to share the fate" Petrograd, Tam, ete, Forsten ALDERMAN, Crry Boano 1% Perroceap, Shanghai, Dee, 9, 1927,
