The theatre was filled with the pupils, and many of their parents, and keen interest was taken in the proceedings, the first part of which \consisted of a musical programme very prettily given under the direction of Miss Harvey. Three charming little songs were exceptionally well sung and a cantata called "The Hours' was also very nicely done, the whole programme refloating great credit} on all concerned. The principal parts in the cantata were well taken by Annie Finkelstein, Dorothy Forshaw, Hilda Schultz, Mercedes Fonseca and Sophie Finkelstein.
