Chefoo hold its spring Gymkhana on the new Recreation Ground en Saturday afternoon. The Committee responsible for the arrangements are doing their utmost 10 make it one of the most successful gymkhanas the Port has held. Ponies are out in the early mornings and it is expected that there will be a large number of entries.
Mr. and Mrs. Clayton who were married a week or two ago at Weihaiwei are expected back in Che foo to-morrow or Thursday. The Rev. H. A. H. Lea, at whose home they are to stay for the present is giving a_ reception for them, to which the community is being invited.
