As yet no official news has been received of the appointment of an Assistant Judge, but it is believed that Mr. Justice Peter Grain, who has been serving on the Bench in Egypt, and is now on his way Shanghai will be given the position. He has seen service in Constantinople, where he was stationed before the war, and later was transferred to Egypt. Here during the progress of hostilities he served along with Mr. Cater on the Alexandria Prize Court.
