Deputy, on a charge of reckless driving' and causing injury to G. Kunze at midnight on July 21 in North Szechuen Road, near the hongkew Hotel. The Police pro-secured in the case and evidence was given by P-C.C. Tilton and P.C. C, Cordell that defendant, while driving his motor car at a speed of about 30 miles per hour, in passing another ear going in the same direction, to avoid hitting the former's ricsha, lost control of the car and collided with an electri: light standard. Kunze, who was a passenger in the motor car, was thrown out and rendered unconscious. He was removed to the hospital by the Police.
