To the Editor of the "Norru-Cruna Dairy News."
Sir,—Would you permit me to appeal to those who so generously gave me Xmas cards for the poor, last year;—for scraps of silk, brocade, ribbon, fancy bits; also clean cardboard boxes, silk cord; to employ the children during the holidays, and keep them happily and innocently employed.
Can anyone tell me how I can get cheap white-wood articles, such] as frames, rulers, small boxes, ote., (to teach the lads up here wood-carving)? I should like to use some of the things in aid of the famine, if the work is enough and the response allows of T am, ete., M. Catroy. 192 Dzoong Foh Li (East)
