Affair and the Strike Akt a joint mectingy of the Committee of the Union Club of China and the Directors of the Union Club Proprietary Limited held yesterday afternoon the following resolutions were passed:- 1, That the Committee of the Union Club of China and the Direetors of the Union Club Proprictar Limited deeply deplore the unfort-nate incident of 30 May, 1025, and hheaietily support and will do. all in their power to forward the pro-Posal for a joint impartial inquiry 2, That it is the earnest desire of the Committee and the Directors of the Union Club Proprietary Limited to foster friendly ce-operatin between the different nationalities represented in the membership of the Club in furthering the well being of this settlement and in maintaining the' friendly relationships hithcerro existing.
