The situation between Hunan and Hupeh has again become acute. The most recent foreign telegrams from Hankow report that 2,000 Kueichow forces were expected at Yochow on July 31. Fresh Hunan forces are said to be reaching the front while Hupeh is rushing up reinforcements.
