As having to do with the "possibility of the above reports being true, it is further interesting to report that the Honan wing of the Kuomintang is availing itself of the services of several Russians. I personally know that for some time there have been Russians in intimate connexion with the Governor's yamen. I am now informed that both the provincial mint and the Jarsenal are under their superinten-idence. This may mean nothing more than that there were there Russian skilled workmen available and utilized, and again it may mean that Honan officials are fully in touch with the left wing of the Kuomintang. So far the course of events the province has not supported this supposition,
