A Peking correspondent writ The " Tageblatt fur Nord China of January 10, commenting on the British Engineers' Association, states that its "organ is the well Known monthly 'Far Eastern Engineering,' whose chief object seems to be to conduct an exceedingly vulgar campaign of les and slander against Germany and her industries in the Far East."
Presumably " Eastern Engineer: ing" is referred to. Tt is not, however, the organ of the British Engineers'
Association, which, as a matter of fact has no newspaper whud by kidnapping. It is said that the Yellow river is China's worrow. The widespread and constant cry of mothers who lose their children by the hands of those who steal and sell them is, it seems to me, a greater and keener sorrow.
