Guns, The Lion, Princes New Zealand were Royal and completed in 1912, the Tiger in 1914, and the Indomitable in 1908.
The October Navy Lint states that the Lion is the flagship of Sir David Beatty, her captain being Alfred E. M.'Chatfeld. The other captains are:—Tiger, Capt. Henry B. Polly; Princess Royal, Cant Osmond de B. rock; New Zealand (which was Fuile at the charge of the New Zealand Government)
