Harbin Authorities in a Panic Harbin, Feb. 28.
Wholesale searches were made by the military authorities in various parts of the town to-day, chiefly institutions connected with Chita, including the Dalta News Agency offices and the residence of the Chita representative, M. Ozornin.
The object of the search was to discover arms rumoured to be stored in the town.
The search was resultless and was connected with the recent discovery of arms in Manchuli Station. The event has created considerable commotion and is largely commented on.—Reuter.
