London, Feb. 17, Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, the Pro mier, has resigned from the In+ dependent Labour Party.
The increasing rebelliousness of members of the Left Wing, who largely constitute the Independent Labour Party, is tmnoficially ascribed as the reason for Mr. MacDonald's resignation, Tt is announced to-day that the Southern Counties Division of the Party had a conference in London during the week-end and passed a resolution congratulating Mr. Maxton, Labour M. P. for Brilgoton, and his supporters upon their opposition to the Government employment Insurance Bill Reuter.
