Experts Coming to Shanghai

The Coroner said he understood that a technical inquiry would be held by the Municipal authorities as to the cause of the ae cident.

Mr. Aldridge—We have held an informal inquiry, and Messrs. Parsons are send: ng out two of their chief experts.

Mr. Wright—It is hoped that in due course Mr. Whitelock will be able to give evidence and tell us exactly what did happen.

The Coroner—I do not think it will be necessary to adjourn the inquiry. I am sure the sympathy of all will go out to the relatives of the men who have lost their lives in this accident, which is one of the worst'we have had in Shanghai.

A verdict of accidental death was recorded.
