A Chinese woman, the wife of a dead Leader of kidnappers, was sentenced to death at the Provision al Court on Saturday, along with five "male. members of the gang The Court dismissed the charges against eight others, but ordered the prisoners to be held in custody, pending an appeal by the Police, as requested Ly Proseeuting Inspr. Mills. Prior to judgment the police asked the Court to dismiss the charges against fear of the gang, so that on Saturday only 14 of the original accused came up for judgment.
