On Apri] 30, the last page in the history of the Asahi Ground will be turned, before it is handed over to the Chinese. During the morning, a solemn Memorial service will be held before the Cenotaph, in honour of those fallen in the War, and prayers will be offered for the consolation of the brave dead. On the same day, a variety of sports will be held, when champions from amongst the government officials will compete with those drawn from the general community, in a number of interesting displays of a sensational nature.
