The reason why up to the present have suffered from foreign oppression is that most of us are! ignorant of it, in fact drunk and dreaming. If whole nation! could Iske India exercise this live resistance, and if all the clans formed a basis on which to form a lereat national unity, no matter what kind of foreign oppression, whether' military, economic or numerical, we should have no need to fear. There. fore the fundamental method of saving China from destruction ie to form first a corporate unity, and then we shall be able to resist any country by unification of our 300 or} J400 clans. There are two ways of resisting foreign countries, one the Positive or Actual, by which the spirit of the people is roused to demand their rights and secure their social well-being in order to compete with foreign countries, The other is the Negative method, which is passive resistance, which the imperialism of foreign Jcountries is lessened and the cor Isinuance of the nation: is assured.
