The People's Commissarist of Foreign Affairs has lodged an emphatic protest with Mr. Cheng Yen-chi, the Chinese Change q'Affairs here, against the recent searching of the Soviet Consulate at Tientsin, Mr, Cheng hag promised immediately to notify the Nanking Government of the Soviet protest, THE Nationalist Minister of Interior has issued a proclamation with reference to the emancipation of women, ordering that women, in accordance with the Three People's ples, should be placed on a basis of equality with men.
