Soldiers are occupying the class rooms of the American Church Mission's St, John's Church. Govern: ment officials are in the same Mis. sion's mn residence; and more officials are in the Y. MIC. two. foreign residences. Soldiers officials and otic seekers are in three-of the five fo sign residences of the Methodist Mission. It is a common sight to see officials and wives of officials in the Y. M. C. A, building with bodyguards carrying naked mauser pistols. These officials and officials' wives come to the M, C. A. to have their hair cut and the bodyguards mingle with the crowds in the Duildings, always with their guns in their hands ready: for immediate use.
