UNPUNISHED CRIMINALS

To the Edit.r of the "Nontu-CHina Datty News."

-—I understand, that, there fare a number of criminals' in the Municipal gaol who ought to have been executed long ago.

If this is so, surely in justice to those who have been foully murdered, it Is our solemn duty to use our utmost endeavour to have the sentences carried out without further delay.

At is most sickening to read in the papers that several so-called "executed" criminals have been arrested in the Settlement during the last fow days, and I think it is up to the authorities to make such representations that a similar oceurrence will be impossible in future, We must protest, most vigorously, and go on protesting until justice is Tam ete, AN Eve ron AN Eve,
