AUTUMN WRAPS

The knitted coats and skirts that made their debut in the spring, and became so popular in London that they replaced to a large extent the "'tailored" coat and skirt are seen again this autumn. There is a slight variation in ihe style of the coat, which is a little shorter and without a belt. A pretty model was seen in aero-blue and mole-gray, the coat being edged ith a few rows of gray silk knit-ug. Worn with a mole-gray hat, would make a charming~ ensemble.

Another style of coat, for wearing with white sports' clothes, is in the nature of an elaborate cardigan. These coats are made of brushed wool and are to be had in a variety of brilliant shades, end correspond in use to duvetyn coats. The smartest of these models have no belts, being finished with a cabochon fastening, or are buttoned up the front with small wool buttons. Jthers have a trimming composed of looped wool.

At the moment, both in Paris and in London, brown is the colour that predominates for the country.
