The Reds are becoming active again in the border regions of Kuangtung and Fukien, and the military authorities in both provinces are much exercised over the situation. It is now learnt th expeditions have been sent to suppress them but according to reliable information they are not only numerous but very well armed as well. Tu tha meantime, many arrests have been made in Swatow ang Amoy of persons suspected to be the leaders of Communist "cell Some executions have also taken place of Into but they have: become common now that the people fare not as interested in them they used to be. Be that as it may, however, there is no question but that many Reds, who are in hiding in this city, og well as in Amoy, are waiting for an opportunity to come forth and do their worst.
