Mystery still surrounds the ease! of " Fengtien officer, said to be on his way here for negotiations, who was dragged off hix train at Lafa, about 45 miles south-east of Peking, yesterday "by Nationalist soldiers, who stripped him naked before everyone and finally dragged him to an outhouse, where he is being detained.
It is feared that the incident will impair the relations of the Nationalist Government with Fengtien Reuter
