At the end of 1933 Japan's mational debt totalled Y.7,821 mil-' ion, internal bonds totalling Y. 6400 million and external debts '¥.1421 million. The debt is ex: pected to show a considerable injerease at the end of the current year. At the end of the World War, Japan's national debt approximated ¥.2,500 million. By 1926, Jet had doubled and it was trebled last year—Reuter.
