'A complaint has been filed in the United States Court for China by Mr. H. D. Rodger, on behalf of the Banque Industrielle de Chine, a French corporation, against the' National City Bank' of New York, in which plaintiffs ask for a writ of attachment against defendants and Mex. $9,156.07, with interest at the rate of eight per cent. fron February 4, Plaintiffs' claim is to the effect that they obtained a judgment against Edouard Zurn, 'a Swiss citizen, in the Swiss Consular Court, on February 20, in the 193.162 and Mex. $9,156. 07, with interest at the rate of eight per cent. Defendants, according to the petition, have in thei possession, or under their control, money and personal property belonging to Edouard Zurn, viz, 300 G. $50 1925 Republic of China five per cent. bonds, the face value of which is G. $15,000 and the market value G. $7,500. The process of garnishment against defendants is necessary to obtain satisfaction on this judgment, which is, according to the petition, unpaid and in full force. This being the case, plaintffs pray for a writ of attachment and judgment, as stated,
