Rudder Harvest—The output Rubber of the year amounted to) 388,817 Ibs. as compared with 416, 251 Tbs. Inst year, The Cost of Production—Including duty and Shanghai expenses eas 7.86 pence per Ib, as compared with 8.19 pence per Ib. in 1927.
Sale of Rubber—The total quantity of Rubber sold up to the time the accounts were made up was) 303,151 Ibs., which realized an average nett price of 8.07 pence per pound, as against 1/54 in 1927, The unsold stock of 85,006. Ibs. at the end of 1928 has been taken into the Accounts at 8.12 pence per pound.
Labour—The supply of labour} was adequate.
Health—On both estates was satisfactory.
Pests and—Diseases.—Diseases gave no cause for anxiety on either Estate.
Buildings—A new office and dispenaary was erected on Batu Dual Estate during the year at a cost of $808.17. All other buildings were! kept in good condition, Accounts and Finance
