The following instructions have een issued by the Executive Yuat concerning the registration of public accountants and the control of taxation of certain industrial and commercial enterprises under the jurisdiction of the Ministries of Finance and of Industry, Commerce and Labour:—
(1) Taxes levied on stock and other exchange corporations, being Central Goverament revenue, shall be collected by the Ministry of Finance.
(2) Registration and general supervision of stock and other exchange houses shall be attended to. by-the Ministry of Industry, Com-wee and Labour, but the Ministry of Finance shall exercise supervision over financial matters. Whenever a permit is issued for opening a new Exchange by the Ministry of In-Commerce and Labour, the said Ministry must formally notify the Ministry of Finance.
(3) Savings societies and lite wsuranee companies shall be istered with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Labour. Whenever the establishment of a new company is approved and the registration thereof completed, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Lavour must notify the Ministry of Finance of said registration, (4) The registration, examina tion and supervision of' public countant shall be under the juridieties of the Ministry of Industry, Commetee and Labour.
