Ca-operation Possibilities

The British press yesterday and the day before commented on the possibility of ce-operation between the Liberal leader and the National Cabinet.

These forecasts are, however, con sidered somewhat premature in London political quarters, where It emphasized that, even. if an under standing Is reached between Mr. Lloyd George and the Cabinet on national grounds, ce-operation would be hardly feasible in view of the deep divergencies of doctrines and personal. antagonism, It is recalled In London, in thie connection, that, besides the personal rivalry existing between himself and the Prime Minster, Mr. Ramsay 'MacDonald, Mr. Lloyd ' George had denounced the fiscal methods em= ployed by Mr. Neville Chamberlain, Chancellor of the Exchequer, and attacked the policy of Sir' John Simon, the Foreign Secretary.

On the other hand, it 1s believed that, should the aged Welsbman's campaign threaten to influence the results of the next elections, overtures "may be made with a view to Joint national action.—Havas.
