The motor road between Fen-chow fu and this city was destroyed by flood yesterday. Although no motor service has been started on this section, it is one of the best roads, having a good surface and well made. It has been in constant use by ricshas and much used by foreigners going to and from the summer resort at Yutache.
Rain and floods continue all around. Excellent crops have been seriously damaged and communications interrupted.
