'A. message from Mukden states that, according to information reach~ ing "Chinese quarters there, 4,000 Soviet troops stationed at' Iman, north of Viadivostock, have invaded Chinese territory, and are steadily' moving westward. Yesterday, the message adds, the invaders occupied Mishan, an important town to the north-west of Lake Hingkai, the Chinele defenders of which retired eight miles.
Peking, Aug. 2, spokesman of the Japanes Legation this morning denied ruth of the report that Chinese should be noted that this: report, which has emanated from Chinese sources, is not verified elsewhere—Reuter.
