Sim,—It having come to the notice of the Shanghai Medical Society, by its Council, through statements in the public press concerni cent references made in an open. court of law questioning the professional qualifications and status of a member of the society, viz., 'A, Bary, the Council think it advis-to make it better known that, under Article IV, Section 2 of th constitution of the Shanghai M deal Society, only properly qualified medical practitioners recognized as such in their own country and conforming to the recognized ethics of the profession are eligible for membership.
