The death oceurved at the age of Joo of Admiral Tu Hsi-kuei, acting Premier and Minister of Navy in 1926, at his Shanghai residence in Route de Sieyes, on Thursday, after short illness.
The Admiral, who was the President of the Mamoi Naval College, was born at Foochow, and graduated from the Nanking Naval College in 1902.
Commander-in-Chief of the Squadron, and in 1921, he was made a Rear-Admiral.
In '1924, he was of Navy, and made a full Admi following year. "In 1926, he became ister of Navy and acting Prime ister. In 1920, he was sent by National Government at Na king as Special Naval Commissioner to Europe and America to study naval construction abroad.
