Close on 35 years of faithful ser vice were brought to a conclusion by the retirement on Tuesday, Dee. 21, of Mr, Frederiey A. Ororio. who was {in charge of the book office of the|rg Shanghai Land Investment Ca, the presence of the staff, a coffer et, consisting of a tray, table, ete, presented by the directors and! start fof the company, was handed to Me. Ororio by Mr. N, 1, Sparke, manager, a token of his Tong and efficient service with the company. Mr. Sparke said Mr. Ozorio always had been a very faithful servant of the company, and had seen it grow from. very small proportions. Me wished him every happiness in his retirement Mr, Ozorio, in reply, said that he would always-think' of the company with happy associations when he made use of the coffee set, which would be extremely often.
