Construction work on. the projected short railway from the Shanghal-'Woosung branch line of the Nanking-Shanghai line to the civie centre in Kiangwan will be started in January next. The line, which is somewhat over two kilometres long, will. start from Kaochingmiao. station avd end at the junction of the San Min and Woosung Roads.
Tt Is understood the line will be Jcompleted in time for the National Track and Field Meeting to be held the new Stadium on National [Independence Day, October 10, next year—Kuo Min.
