Osaka, Dec. 27.
Japanese baseball and tennis players have been invited to "show their wares" in a series of games' in Johannesburg in 1936 according to the terms of a communication received from the South African city by the headquarters of the Osaka Shosen Kaisha here to-day.
Officials of the company stated that they would consult the Foreign Office before taking any action in view of the report published yesterday that a resolution to invite Japanese baseball team next spring had been passed by a baseball club conference held at Bloemfontein recently.
The difference in the years named in the two invitations and the addi-lon of a tennis team in the Johannesburg bid had those in charge wondering whether the two invitations were inter-related or absolutely independent—Rengo.
