Prices have gone up since dealers made their contracts and consequently they are defaulting of endeavouring 0 deliver inferior quality to make up the difference ili value. In some commodities they! cannot even complete committments fas they oversold the position, ana while the skippers are being pressed for their contracts to be fulflted with, the Home buyers, they have no means of satisfying them or getting redress here, A pretty state of affairs, which ig becoming only too common these days, and doing a lot of harm to the trade of the port.
