GERMAN. MISSIONARIES "REPORTED SEIZED Captured During Raid Made!

On Tsuyung by Reds Peiping, Apr. 23.

A German missionary family named Uhlmann, connected with the Central Bethelgptission, are stated by reliable foreign sources in Yunnanfu to be among the missionaries reported captured by the Communists at Tsu-Yung, 70 miles west of Yunnanfu, on April 15. The German, authorities here, however, know of only one missionary named Uhlmann, who, they state, is a bachelor stationed in another part of the province.

Another despatch received from Yunnanfu states that the American missionaries at Tsuyung are safe, but makes no mention of any Germans—

Reuter.
