The offices of the Chinese merchant volunteers at Hsiang Nyi Kong Village, Chapel, were stormed by over 100 workers of the Dah Chung Hwa Blectrle Batiery Factory, following the arrest of one of the workers who had taken peach blossoms from 2 private garden without permission on Friday afternoon, it was learned yes terday. Armed with wooden clubs, the workers raided the volunteers' offices and smashed everything inside. Upon learning of the disturbance, a squad of offers was despatched by the Chapel Public Safety Bureau and took six of the workers Into custody for investigations.
