To the Editor of the "Nonrt-Ciaxa Dany News"
Sin—I hope that some steps will be taken to bring the British Broadcasting Corporation to a sense of the offence that they have given to the British in Shanghai by the publica-ion of Mr. Richard Pyke's views as reproduced in the "North-China Daily News" to-day. 1 fall to see why merely because this is an International Settlement it should not be accorded the courtesy due to a friendly people, The BBC. would not venture to allow one of their broadcasters to call 9 sovereign country a "where," whether of Asia or Europe—I fail' to see why we should have to stand it.
